Antique late 1800s-early 1900s set of 5 handpainted fine china plates. Each features a bright turquoise floral and gilt border around very beautifully and skillfully painted fruits in a realistic style. Not signed or marked. These would have been blanks that were purchased to take home or to one's studio to decorate. Excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs, and mild wear only to the paint on the rim and on the hair-thin innermost border. Measure 8.5'' across.One of a kind ...set!
