Antique Dark Blue Staffordshire Transferware Teapot circa 1825 as-is Offered for sale is an early 19th century teapot with an impressed makers mark on the base. It has an old very unprofessional replacement finial that is very tacky looking and there is some overall age discoloration. The rest of the pot is in great shape with only a few minor flakes on the inner flange that supports the lid, a tiny bit of glaze wear on the spout edge and a couple insignificant glaze ...spider in the base that do not break the interior glaze, otherwise fine. Measures 11" handle to spout, 7" tall.
