I buy vintage linens at local estate auctions to pass them along to you, and I always look for vintage and antique clothing and accessories.
This is an antique collar that I think dates to the 1930s. It is made of embroidered netting lace in a cream color. It measures 24" around the neck edge, which is reinforced with a bias band of netting. It's 4" wide at the center back, and has deep scallops. The netting is embroidered with circles of looped pat...terns forming a lacey look. Please use the zoom function to check all the great details..This is in good condition but there are a few loose loop stitches, as shown in the photos. This has a great look to wear over a plain top. I am storing this in my smoke-free home, but I do have a cat who sheds copiously, so be aware if you have allergies. Please contact me for more information or photos.
