She has collected dolls and miniatures for many years. I will do my best to describe the item and its condition. This Black American... doll is marked on the back of her head (Ruth E Newton, The Sun Rubber Co.) and in the middle of her back (The Sun Rubber Co. 1957). This baby doll measures 8.5 in. She is not jointed accept for the neck. Her features are painted. The rubber is in very good condition. She has all her fingers and toes. Her dress is not original, but it is vintage.
