Here's a pre 1900 / antique glasshouse cylinder whiskey bottle - probably a quart - color is an olive amber - from a glassworks in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania - height is almost 11 1/4 inches; the bottle is base embossed: DYOTTVILLE GLASSWORKS PHILa with a big number "5" embossed in the center; the word PATENT is embossed on the shoulder - could have been embossed sharper; near excellent condition - the bottle will display as perfect - there is a tiny smooth dip in the lip with perhaps an internal bruise or line - hard to see on display and probably a manufacturing flaw.
