DESCRIPTION: OH, this sweet, sweet dress. I call her "my faded love." Years ago before I acquired her, she was stored somewhere that sunlight touched the sides and shoulders and accordingly, she's faded in those places. Collectors: always remember to store these calico Gunnies wrong side out and away from sunlight, ok? Anyway, this dress is being sold AS IS with no returns. Look at the phot...os, please. Personally I think she is still completely wearable. When the dress is being worn the flaws aren't that glaringly noticeable. If you don't want to wear her, she's also good for study or pattern making. This is the hard to find peplum-waisted model. They don't come around very often, at any price. It's a gorgeous dress, overall - and the parts that were not exposed to sunlight are still very rich in color. All fabric is strong - and sturdy. This is a size 9. Bust is 34 to a snug 36 inches and waist is 28 inches. Hips are full and overall length from shoulder to hemline is 46 inches. This item is freshly washed. ❤️ Texan vintage Rules!
