This is a large antique Wedding or Celebration bell with cranberry glass with a clear glass applied handle. The handle has a tear drop pattern at the top. The handle is applied to the paneled bell with plaster of Paris. A wire loop is put into the plaster of Paris for a clapper but the wire loop is missing that the clapper would attach to. The use of the plaster of Paris was used in the late 1800's to the 1900's. This is a beautiful piece. The condit...ion is excellent. It is 11" tall with a 5 5/8" diameter base.
