12 " Antique Bisque Head Composition German Schoenau Hoffmeister Doll " TLC "

DESCRIPTION:This Listing is for a "lovely" antique German Schoenau Hoffmeister doll who measures 12" tall. Incised at the back of her bisque head is "5800 S pb in star H, Germany 3/0". Reference attributes to Schoenau Hoffmeister, 1910+. This doll is a bisque socket head on wooden composition jointed body. Body shows overall wear, arms are "loose", she needs to be "re-strung", all fingers intact. Her feet have had black paint applied to look like shoes. A "sweet..." Dolly Face with "FIXED" open blue glass eyes, painted black lashes around her eyes, brown eye brows, open mouth with upper teeth, and rose color blush on her beautiful face. Her brunette wig is glued on a pate on her head. I did not remove her wig/pate since her eyes are fixed to remain open and should not damage in shipping. I flashed around her bisque head and do not see any cracks. Doll wears a vintage off white dress with embroidery and lace trim, it snaps down the back and has blue ribbon accents. I do notice a little discoloration it may need a cleaning. She wears half slip, pantaloons, stockings and black kid leather boots.(She is wearing leather boots even though her feet have been painted black to look like shoes).
