STUNNING RARE ANTIQUE 19TH CENTURY CHINESE CARVED CIRCULAR GAMING COUNTER BOX Chinese ....circa 1870
This is a very fine quality Beautiful Antique 19th century Chinese Carved Gaming Counter Box. This stunning very detailed Box was crafted circa 1870 making this wonderful box nearly 150 years old. The detailing to this gaming box is superb, its been beautifully carved to the top depicting a village scene with peasants walking and tal...king amounst the wonderfully detailed homes with flowers and foliage in a bundance, to the sides it has been beautifully carved with homes and tress, with a mountain landscape , the top pulls off and this would many years ago held the gaming counters , on turning the box over you will see even the base has the most wonderful carved decoration of flowers and foliage, this would have once belonged to a young Gentleman and been used often in a time when things were so very different, the quality of the craftsmanship is superb, this gaming counter box is so very tactile and once held it has the most wonderful feel. This will add something very special to any collection, my photos dont do it justice, inside this does have faint chinese marks

Measurements......nearly 4.5 cm diameter....3 cm height
Condition, ....beautiful condition with just the normal amount of surface wear.
