Original Antique Wooden Hand Carved Duck Decoy With Lead Weight - NRThis is a really cool antique hand carved wooden duck decoy with a lead weight on the bottom as well as a leather strap where you would tie the chain or cord the anchor or other decoys were attached to. The head has a wooden peg on it which fits into the hole on the ducks neck. This decoy is really old however I don't know much about decoys so I cannot say what year exactly. It has lots of wear with a rough surface on ...the sides and some small holes here and there that could even be from buckshot but the resulting patina is really appealing. The pictures show it all pretty well. A great decorative piece.The duck is 13" long and the estimated shipping weight will be 3.5 pounds.I am not an expert so please ask questions before bidding.
