Serge Nekrassoff made hand hammered pewter and copper wares in Connecticut in the 1920s-50s, and his naturalistic forms mimicked the best of Arts & Crafts design including Georg Jensen. These elegant small candle holders are 2" high with a 4.5" base, with out-turned holders and vines & a bud along the base. The matched pair is lightly tarnished and can be polished to a shine. Both are signed Nekrassoff. This type of hand craftsmanship is rarely seen anymore.
