This auction is for a nice Antique Sandwich Glass Translucent Blue Glass Child's Paneled Toy Lemonade Tumbler, The Boston and Sandwich Glass Company, c. 1840-1870. The pressed paneled toy lemonade tumbler is a wonderful and early child's toy glass item. This example has a great provenance as well, as it has a sticker showing that it was a part of the "Breckel" collection of Sandwich Glass! The tumbler is in a beautiful translucent blue color and has a pressed handle attached and a rough blown ...pontil on the base and is in flint glass. This tumbler is without a handle in "A Guide To Sandwich Glass Witch Balls, Containers and Toys" by Barlow and Kaiser, plates #3323, where it books for $150 in blue.
