Up for sale is this very nice antique 1852 copy of, "What I Saw in London; or, Men and Things in the Great Metropolis." The book is overall in very good condition. The covers only have some minor wear. The binding of the book is good and strong. There is a period inscription in fountain pen to the back of the frontispiece illustration. The first few pages have some vertical wrinkles. The interior is lightly toned from age with some light foxing throu...gh out. Along with that, there may be the very occasional page with some kind of minor imperfection like a creased page corner, minor spot of grubbiness, soiling, or staining, a tiny tear or chip, minor interior crack, etc. Generally though, it's a very nice copy.
