VERY RARE PALACE SIZE Japanese Satsuma made in Yokoyama finely painted group of seated Rakan and a Kannon with gold halos, in the foreground a dancing man with long wild black hair and wearing a robe, interspersed throughout the Rakan is a white spotted dragon, above the pagoda building is the Shimazu family crest, the exterior has an overall scene of Rakan, Kannon and a dragon, It has Hodota's signature is on... the base. This magnificent vase is in excellent condition, no damage or repairs. Colors and gold are still fantastic. Measures: 45 cm high. An absolute most for collectors!
