Original Description:
For sale is an original World War II era blade marked US M3 fighting knife as used by the paratroopers or airborne troops. The blade markings were removed at some point and the ordnance mark on the end was peened over. The scabbard is marked U.S. M8 B.M. CO. The knife is in pretty good condition - the leather handle is tight (see pictures). The scabbard is in good condition. Check out my other auctions as I am selling off some of my collection. A nice addition to any military collectio...n.
