A beautiful 18th 19th century Celadon Ming dy ge ware guan type vase with doulble crackle decoration and the crackle is a black and orangey rust. Hand painted decoration with sprays of flowers and insects, there is no signatures on this piece and probably late 18th to early 19th century but not entirely sure could be a lot earlier so please refer and study pictures provided. . . . Top diameter 4.5 cms. . . The foot is 4.25 cms diameter. Condition: the vase was cracked and has been glued to secure and to stable it, you can see by the photos provided on the inside wall of the mouth of the vase a crack and has a little glue residue in crevice. It is cracked on both sides down to half way on the body but it never broke into two so to secure the piece I injected glue into the cracks and the vase is now very stable, please refer to pictures provided. The last four photographs were taken with flash exposure and the enhance the damage more than just normal light and I have tried to highlight the damage in drawing so you have the normal photo then the highlight drawing photo so you can compare the two.SEE PICS. . . . . .
