DescriptionBeautiful hand painted cherub decorated majolica plate. Made in the late 19th or early 20th Century, by Cantagalli pottery from Italy.Marked with the maker's hand painted backstamp (reverse photographed).There is an old crack running half way across the plate, some dark crazing and some light glaze rubs around the rim of the plate (all can be seen in photographs). Otherwise, in very good condition, with no chips, cracks or restoration.The plate measures appro...ximately 9½" in diameter. Service
