Wool flag with printed decoration showing the national eagle flanked by four stars. There are holes and worn places throughout with two large patches on the fly end. 28" x 48". The header has a tag from Sterling. Header is also marked "Sec. War" and "SEC OF WAR" in handwritten ink. Not sure when this dates to, but the Secretary of War was replaced by the Secretary of the Army in 1947 and now serves under the Secretary of Defense.
