This Vintage 1940's SIGNED Baden & Foss of New York 10k Solid Yellow Gold Ring is set with a Beautiful 14x12mm MULTICOLOR MOSAIC Turquoise gemstone. This Turquoise is a Cushion-Shaped Cabochon Cut. Cabochon refers to a gemstone that has been shaped and polished instead of being faceted. This turquoise is amazing and is made up of small natural turquoise nuggets from different mines that have been bonded together under extreme pressure using a resin that contains crystalline natural pyrite giving the matrix a metallic shine. The Mosaic of BLUE/AQUA Colors with the Golden Pyrite look wonderful in the Gold Setting. This old style Mosaic Turquoise ends up being more durable than solid turquoise and much more colorful. This Turquoise is in PERFECT PRISTINE CONDITION free of any cracks, scratches, or chips. The ring is a Classic 1940's 10k Solid Yellow Gold Ring with the gold polished to a mirror finish and great ridged shoulders. This ring is hallmarked with "B&F" which is Baden & Foss, Inc of NY. Robert Baden designed the jewelry and they worked in the 1940's and were later acquired by American Gemsmiths, Inc, also of New York. This ring is fully marked "10k" and tests as and is guaranteed to be 10k solid gold.
