This is a wonderful vintage porcelain Royal Copenhagen Denmark beautiful bird figurine with long beak, a kingfisher, with great color and design as shown in the pictures taken with and without flash. It is in very fine condition, with no major chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs. However, there is a small chip on the very back wing as shown which cannot be seen when the bird is standing upright in its normal position. The chip measures approximately 1/8 of an inch. It would look great ...in anyone’s Royal Copenhagen or animal/bird figurine collection. The bottom is marked: with the Royal Copenhagen crown mark which dates the piece, Denmark, three blue Royal Copenhagen wavy lines, The mold number 407, and some other letters/symbols. The bird figurine stands around 4 1/2 inches tall by just over 3 inches long by just over 3 inches in the other direction to the extension of beak. It’s worth mentioning the beautiful colors and design of the bird and deco base the bird sits on.
