Original Description:
This is an antique 18th or 19th century Delft pottery table size snuff box. It is being sold AS IS. The top and bottom have been broken and glued back, though not professionally. The hinge is not broken, but it is not attached to the bottom half. The top has a painted scene with two gentlemen and some houses in the distance. The bottom has painted florals. The underside has considerable scratch (table) wear from years and years, and is signed with letters. The box is 3 3.../8" by 2 3/4" by about 2 3/4" tall. Its a shame this one was broken... but someone out there can breathe some life into it and restore it! It looks like a very early piece. 
I have another similar box listed... these came from my personal box collection.
