VINTAGE MID CENTURY LADY MATE POWDER COMPACT MUSIC BOX SWAN LAKE
Nice mid century piece!
This is a Lady Mate powder puff 3 footed compact music box. Made of a mix of gold tone and clear lucite.
Beautiful scroll design on the lid with a cherub finial.
Music box and lid have no breaks, chips, cracks or repairs. 3 feet are in tact. Mirror inside lid is in tact.
Looks like it never had powder in it. Plastic removable sifting tray inside still has label r...emnants. Does not have/come with powder puff.
On the bottom it has a red foil label for Lady Mate. Silver label reads Lady Mate Swan Lake. Silver foil label Made in Japan.
The movement key is present and turns easily. The box plays music when the lid is lifted. Plays well. No overwound.
May need light cleaning due to age, preowned use/display and storage. Due to age has some light surface wear.
All original.
Measures approximately 4" at widest point and 3.75" tall
