I have for auction a pair of Vintage (1940s ?) Native American Indian Chief Bookends. This pair of bookends were made by Dodge and are a heavy cast gray metal with a high gloss bronze finish with red gold copper used from copper mines in the South West. It became known as "The Best of the West". This pair stands 7" tall. They are marked on the back corner Dodge, and also a paper label on one of the heads. One of the pieces has a higher gloss than the other..., however, I did not even dust them or try to polish the other, so it may shine more than the photos show, after polishing. Please enlarge the photos for condition. Thanks for looking. Over the next couple weeks I will be listing a large collection of bookends for an estate dealer. Please view my other listings if you are interested. I DO NOT END MY AUCTIONS FOR BUY IT NOW REQUESTS!
