Images by George Petty who is most famous for his pin up drawings that appeared in Esquire Magazine in the 1930's and the covers for many Ice Capades programs. Petty was born in Louisi...ana in 1894 and moved to Chicago around 1900. Petty even won first prize in the 1933 Chicago World's Fair Poster contest. Petty Girl made way for the Varga Girl in the early 1940's. Petty died in 1975.
The pages are 8-7/8" x about 12". They were part of a calendar that was separated many years ago. You will get the pages that are pictured - seven total covering the following 1947 calendar months: February, June, July, September, October, November and December. The original plastic spiral binding remains at the top, but five calendar months are missing from the set.
Shipping is via USPS Priority Mail to addresses in the US ONLY. Payment is made via PayPal. The calendar pages will be packed between sheets of cardboard and well secured for shipment. The items come from my smoke-free home. Thank you!
