Beautiful English Antique Map Sampler of England and Wales. Lovely antique Oak frame with oval wooden veneered mount.Long undisturbed.
Meticulously created by Christiana Blenkin, aged 12 of Hull in 1804.She has even included the map scale. Christiana has stitched a beautiful floral oval border encompassing the map, which really sets it off.
Very fine quality stitch work throughout this large sampler. This must have taken a great deal of time, patience and skill t...o complete.
214 years old., and stilll makes a great focal point on the wall.Please see photos. This makes a lovely focal point, and features the old counties.
Size approx: 62 x 67 cms inc frame.
I will pack very well, and will tape the glass prior to transit but cannot guarantee glass during transit.
