Original Description:
Sweetgrass basket with lid. Bought from basket-maker/seller in Charleston, South Carolina, about 25 years ago. Has been used for holding yarn. Attractive shape, useful. Some fraying of weave- on edge of bottom and edge of lid- confined to edge row. Definitely repairable by weaving in a reed material. Overall diameter 14 inches, overall height 11 inches. (I am moving to a small place, and can't take everything.) Beautiful and Classic.
