Elegant, interior door salvaged from an old home in Staten Island, NY. We originally had 6, and judging from the wood-grain of one of the doors that sold, I'm almost certain that this door is solid cypress. It has a rare, 4 recessed (flat) panel arrangement on both sides.Hardware: Aside from a mortise lock, the door is not equipped with any hardware. However, we have a good selection... of period hardware in our eBay store, and tons more in our physical store.* If you would like any of the hardware holes plugged with a solid block of wood, email us for a quote.Condition: The door is strong, sturdy, and in great structural condition. It has nicks, scrapes, and scratches, which will disappear after sanding, prior to refinishing or repainting, and whatever remains will be subtle, "character marks." Refinish/Repaint: We could refinish, repaint, or partially or completely strip the door to prepare it for you to repaint or refinish. See the last photo in this auction as an example of our work. Email us with a small description of what you would like done, and we'll give you a quote.Swing: The door is set up to swing into a room, towards the right, or outwardly, towards the left. We could change the swing--email us for a quote.Modification: Do you want to replace the panels with glass, screen/mesh, or something else?
