Rare David Bailey Box Of Pin Ups Book 1965

David Bailey's issued his celebrated collection of 36 photographs of people who 'have gone all out for the immediate rewards of success: quick money, quick fame, quick sex' in 1965. It was published by Weidenfeld and Nicholson. The reverse of each half tone photo contains commentaries by Francis Wyndham.
In recent auctions at Christies, Bonham etc this 'BOOK' has made over £6000.
So why is this one so cheap. Well the outer box has seen better days. It was originally stuck do...wn with sellotape which has left yellow stains to the top and bottom. The sides of the box had collapsed and I have repaired them.
There are ONLY 35 of the original photos one is missing but I'm not sure which one.
3 of the photos that of Susan Murray, Chrissie Shimpton and Jean Shimpton are damaged with pen and have actually been used for what the box intended ie they've been pinned up.
On the positive side the remaining 32 photos are in quite good condition, some have a little yellow staining but are still good looking. If it makes a difference the original corrugated card that says 'packing piece to be thrown away is still in the box.
Looking elsewhere on Ebay I see individually some of the photos are up for sale, unframed ones at £224 each and framed at over $1000 each.
