Please bookmark our auctions }Up for auction we have a beautiful vintage 1950 Angelus Swiss figural globe weather station with four instruments. Rare version with French barometer. Possibly The BEST surf...ace condition we've ever seen on this weather station anywhere it is sold, silver and brass areas are usually well worn or tarnished black.  Includes Clock, Barometer, Thermometer, and Hygrometer inset in a gorgeous figural Earth with gold gilt heavy brass globe which rotates on stand. Dial: Applied Arabic numerals, brushed silvered dials for the hygrometer, thermometer and barometer. Gilt dauphine hands. Dial signed Angelus, (8), Swiss. Movement : non-alarm, key-winding Angelus, marked Incastar, SN: 54587, 15 jewels. Outstanding surface Condition, shiny, minimal wear, very very slight bend in bottom section of half moon holder. Hygrometer, Barometer and Thermometer seem to be working, unsure of the accuracy. Clock winder is stiff, clock not running, however may just need cleaning or servicing considering the age, sorry not experts. The clocks and movements alone on these globes are highly sought after. Would sell for a great price $2500 - $3000 retail in any antiques store, offered here with no reserve. Don't miss it!
