Over the next couple weeks I will be selling the last 8 (possibly 9) of my antique 1920s tube radios (including a DeForest D-10 and D-12, each with its original loop antenna). I will be listing a radio every day or two. This is because they're large and heavy, and difficult to safely pack for shipping, so I don't want to have to pack and ship more than one at a time. I also have power supplies for use with early radios, period speakers, extra vacuum tubes, and a tube ...tester which I will be selling toward the end of the sale, so please check my other auctions from time to time. This set is a classic 1923 De Forest D-10 reflex receiver that uses a galena crystal detector. It is in excellent condition with a few scratches in the finish (see photos) and is missing one of the rubber feet. It has 4 tubes, all of which are the proper De Forest DV2 vacuum tubes and all are working. These tubes are almost impossible to find in working condition and are rare collectors items on their own. This is the set I kept on display in my home to play for guests and it worked well the last time I played it, one week ago. It comes with its original galena crystal, one extra coil, and its original plug-in loop antenna with De Forest label (see last 2 photos). I will also include a photocopy of the manual and a few ads. It is a must have addition to any serious collection of antique tube radios.

It's heavy so shipping will be a flat $75 based on my estimate of the actual shipping/insurance costs for USPS ground, based on weight and size. If you want it shipped Priority Mail, let me know after the sale and I will tell what the additional fee will be. For most of these radios and accessories, I cannot combine shipping due to the size and weight of each radio, however, I will combine the shipping with any of the extra DV2 tubes I am offering. I will only ship to the USA, Canada, Western Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and Japan. Other bidders will be cancelled. If you live near Woodbridge, Virginia or will be in the area, I strongly encourage local pickup.
