Hello! I hope this finds you well!I purchased a small collection of Madame Alexander dolls from the original owner and will be listing a few this month.I really don't know much about them, so please ask any questions prior to bidding. Thank you.This is 8" “Swiss”. I was told she was issued in the 1960's and has a Wendy Face. Gorgeous Blonde braids with original bows, with some unusual knots on the side of hair (photo #5). Beautiful grey eyes that open and close eas...ily. When I picked her up from a laying down position, her eyelids flutter for a bit. She has her original "Swiss/By Madame Alexander" paper wrist tag. Sewn in label on back reads "Madame Alexander New York All Rights Reserved". Thick felt red dress with attached lace "apron", unusual waistband... (most of the Swiss listed have a totally different waistband), felt hat adorned with brass eagle, feather and ribbon, black velveteen shoes with tiny gold buttons. Long white stockings to her knees! Pantaloons with bows and crisp underslip. Delicate flowers tied to her wrist. She has bent knees, but I don't believe she is a walker, but not sure. She probably needs to be restrung as her legs are loose. She is just an adorable doll and is being sold as found so please consider this when bidding. Thank you.
