An original World War Two letter including the cover dated 1945 from Tsingtao China. The cover has the return address of U.S.S. Cullman. In one area it says, .....we were in the philippines......from there up to tokyo for the signing...saw in the papers that the buchanan was there too. we were anchored just stones throw from missouri, so watched her at same time listening to broadcast...............then via manila to hongkong loade...d up with chinese troops and set out for darien.............ended up by being invited in to one of them by this chinese girl........two brothers doctors...one a colonel in the chinese army...........(had left their home there just ahead of the j_ps)............their uncle is general ho...supposed to be the right hand man of chiang kai chek, and he was in charge of all these armies we were carrying.............
