This auction is for a Questar Modified Beseler Topcon Super D Camera with 1:4 58mm Topcor Lens.
The camera is a rare example of Questar's quest for perfection. The camera has a separate lever on the lens base which allows the camera mirror to be retracted just prior to taking a picture. This remove all camera vibration other than the titanium shutter movement.The camera was sold with the high magnification waist level finder that has it's own adjustable eye piece. This allows f...or optimum focusing. Both of these criteria are critical for clear telescopic photography.
The 1:4 58mm Topcor lens is the top of the line Beseler lens. It is easy to focus with the pentaprism viewfinder and no. 2 viewing screen.
Also included are; Everyready Super D case eith strap and changeable lid for no lens covering, new battery for camera light meter, camera manual and other brochures.
