ART DECO SILVER GUILLOCHE ENAMEL COMPACT. EGYPTIAN REVIVAL.1920’sSuperb quality silver engine turned and guilloche enmel compact from the Art Deco period circa 1920’s.Enamelled on back with iridescent grey enamel and a scarab seal. On front the border is same grey colour In the centre lift up lid is a magnificently executed scene in vibrant enamel of an Egyptian pharaoh and his wife in front of Ra the Sun God.Condition - a tiny edge sliver off the back . On front a small chip o...n white border by the hinge otherwise very good condition - see photos.Original gilding Inside. Small cloud on mirror edge - see photos.Size - 6 cms diameter , Weight 44 gms.
