Vintage PARAGON "FLOATING PINK ROSE on GOLD" Hand Painted CUP & SAUCER BURGUNDY Body with Gold Filigree details MINT CONDITION c 1952-60 NO RESERVE Description I am pleased to offer a stunning vintage cup and saucer set made by Para...gon, England Beautiful and elegant large pink rose with a rich dark burgundy body and extensive gold filigree details and it appears to be floating on an inner background of pure burnished gold Hand painted over transfer Dates from 1952-1960 Virtually mint condition with no chips, cracks, hairlines, staining, other damage or restoration on either cup or saucer; both pass the bone china ping test perfectlyVery little wear to rose or the burnished gold aside from minor surface scratches and some pin prick spots of missing burgundy background which are both typical commensurate with age Cup measures 2 1/8" tall at sides (2 1/4" tall to top of handle) and entire cup is 4 3/4" across including handle; saucer is 5 1/2" across Marked as shown in photo with pattern number A1793 and decorator marks handpainted in dark burned orange Please ignore all white spots on all photos caused by camera flash This lovely set would make a beautiful addition to your collection or a perfect gift Returns accepted only if item not as described.
