This turkey was manufactured by Stangl Pottery located in Trenton, New Jersey in 1940. The pottery bird has the antique ivory crackled glaze and this glaze was only applied to the Stangl turkey in 1940 making it one of the rarer and harder to obtain Stangl birds. The crackled glaze makes it look like the bird has crazing but the crackled glaze is original to the bird. The Stangl Pottery pattern number of 3275 is incised into the underside of the bird.
The approximate dim...ensions and weight are: Maximum height = 3.5 inches.Maximum length from back of bird to front of bird = 4.75 inchesMaximum width from the left side of bird to the right side of bird = 3 inches.Weight = 0.5 pounds.
