This is an antiquarian copy of Heroes of the Dark Continent and How Stanley Found Emin Pasha by J.W. Buel. It was published by Historical Publishing Co. in 1890. The covers have some wear and staining; the pages have discoloration from age; there is writing in pencil on one of the front pages; and there is some binding damage inside the front cover, as shown.

Just because an item is light does not mean it will not cost much to ship. If that light item is large, the shipping providers use dimensional weight to determine cost, not the actual physical weight.
Furthermore, the shipping you will be charged is displayed near the price, whether you are on eBay on your computer or the app on your phone. Please, please, please don't feign surprise at the shipping cost after you win the auction. You've already seen what you will be charged for shipping when you placed your bid. Just like I do when I buy things on eBay. I apologize if you are a bidder who already understands this and might find this condescending but, unfortunately, it has proven necessary to spell this out for others.
