RARE WATT APPLE #91 DOMED TOP COOKIE CANISTER - EXCELLENT! NO RESERVE!!
Up for auction is a 10 3/4" tall x 7 1/2" wide cookie canister in excellent condition. Please enlarge the photos for a closer look. The only flaw that may be post factory is a 1/2" long chip along the in...side lid dry ring. It is located at 3:00, in the last photo. This may be a factory grinding chip, as the lid dry ring, as well as the underside dry ring were ground at the factory. Any other flaws look to be factory, including the tiny glaze pops on the lid finial, located at 9:00, in the 5th photo. The inside shows no staining, but there are some factory firing spots, as shown in the 7th and 8th photos. The 9th photo shows some of this factory spotting on the outside of the canister. Of course, there are some other of the usual glaze flaws that you always find on Watt. There piece also has crazing. The canister weighs 3 lbs. 6.7 oz. before packaging. If you are looking for a great gift for the Watt collector, look no further. You will look long and hard before you find another one of these.
