Rare 1684 Hobbs's Tripos In Three Discourses Antique Book by Thomas Hobbs of Malmsbury. I believe this is a 3rd Edition. Hobbs's tripos in three discourses consists of: The first, Humane nature, or the fundamental elements of policy, being a discovery of the faculties, acts and passions of the soul of man, the second, De corpore politico, or the elements of law, moral and politick, and the third, Of liberty and necessity. Please take note, this book was made in the year 1684 and is in ...very old antique condition being 336 years old. Not too bad of a musty smell, both book cover ends apart from book, book spine separated and book pages in two separate parts (see all in photos). Book is very fragile. Measures 7 1/4" tall, 4 1/4" wide and 1" thick. Total 317 pages are accounted for. Low start with no reserve.
