"Hi Dick, Florence & Bob,
How is the world treating you? Everything here i...s going swell. They may allow us come home in a year or so. But the war may end sooner than you think. I'm hoping it's sooner than that. We had quite an experience the other night. We were playing poker and we hear some one call for help and sure enough there was someone in the water. He fell off a ship about two miles from us and the current carried him right to us. So we have accomplished some thing. See you all later. Love Jimmy"
