Original Description:
This is an old antique American Electric Candlestick Telephone Mouthpiece and Front or Base Plate.The American Electric Telephone company was founded in 1894, filed for bankruptcy in 1911, and continued into the 1930's.Embossed on the bottom of the mouthpiece is 35 E.Inscribed on the bottom of the plate is A.E. Co. U.S.A.M.The mouthpiece has a seam or crack on the side that doesn't go through to the inside, and some dings on the bottom that can't be seen when attached to the plate.The ...front plate is in good condition with some wear around the edges.Please see all 6 photos for more details.  Please contact us with any questions.The package weighs 15 ounces, and measures 5 x 5 x 5 inches.
