DESCRIPTION:This auction is for a 7-1/2" Vogue Ginny doll wearing a tagged Vogue Medford dress. A walker doll, that is when her legs move her head turns, she is in "displayed" condition, no odors but would recommend a light overall cleaning. She is incised " Ginny, Vogue Dolls Inc, Pat No. 2687...., Made in USA" on her upper back see photo. I notice a tiny black ink mark or "stain" on her upper left back, you can see this in the close up of her back, it could be from the black ve...lvet portion of her dress, I do not know her history. A sweet little face with blue sleepy eyes that open and close, molded upper eye lashes, single stroke eye brows and closed mouth. Strawberry blonde wig with bangs is secure on her head. This doll is strung fine. Wears a her original Spring floral dress with hook at the back, attached pink slip, pantaloons, stockings and shoes. There is a straw hat with applied flowers on her head, and a "Hi I'm Ginny No.73 paper tag" around her wrist. As mentioned I do not know her history, so do not know if this paper tag is original to her. Clothing may need a little sewing restoration after 70 or so years, her pantaloons have stretched out at the waist, a little large, and dress sleeves at the cuffs have lost the elasticity, you can see this in the photos. A few light wrinkles on her dress and loose threads but no stains or rips. I have taken plenty of photos, Please look at my photos to serve as part of this description.
