It is called the Touch Tip Bartender and is figure 181 in Urban Cummings informative book: “Ronson The World’s Greatest Lighter” This model dates back to 1936 and is chrome plated and enameled in “grained walnut effect”. Since Ronson, Art Metal Works, have popularized the touch-tip lighters, they have been a favorite of ...the pipe smokers due to the ease of lighting & re-lighting the pipe with the removable wand. Arguably, this is the most coveted Ronson Table lighter and is the centerpiece to an advanced Ronson Collection. Just look at the clever way Ronson hid the striker between all the bar appliances! Additionally, it has two cigarette holders, also hidden bellow the bar equipment in a hinged and auto-lifting chamber.This phenomenal piece is in pristine condition. In fact it should have a box. If anyone out there has one available, I would be interested in acquiring it!Arguably, this one is perhaps in the best condition of ones that have been listed on e-bay. Everything works perfectly, both of the elevators for the cigarettes are complete and functioning. The wand is original and the touch tip mechanism is in perfect working order, providing a strong spark. The Chrome plating is as it was when it left the factory some 80 Years ago and its enamel is virtually flawless. The dark spots on it are a reflection of my camera. The enamel is virtually flawless. All the bar decorations are tight and perfect! This fantastic piece has never been dropped for it is free of any unsightly dents or dings. Its bottom still has its original factory installed felt.
