This auction is for a vintage, metal, Morton Mfg. Company Soo Line Railroad conductor's step stool, or step box. The Soo Line lettering is embossed. The top of the stool measures 14-1/4" by 9-1/4", the base measures 17-1/2" by 12", and the height (on the blocks) is 11-1/2". If the added height is removed, the stool will measure 9-3/4" in height. There is a utility box attached to the inside of the stool. The stool has been used - there are dents, and might have been re-painted. The a...re paint drips and splatters on the stool. Additional height has been added/screwed to the four feet and should be easy to remove, if so desired. The stool is being sold "as is". If actual shipping cost is less than charged, I will issue a refund.
