Original Description:
Up for auction is an antique 18th century single brass push-up candlestick recently found in central New Jersey.  It is offered in as found condition, push-up no longer functions, crack in center that has been repaired, a bit bent, scratches and abrasions, dings.  Probably mid 18th century.  Base diameter 4".  Accomodates a 3/4" candle.  Unsigned unmarked.  Nice early candlestick.  Great display.
