Vintage Atwater Kent Model 84 that is agood candidate for restoration. Radio did not function when plugged, with no tubes lighting up, so the power connection may be bad. One wire to the 227 tube is missing the hasp that would connect it to the radio. There is electrical tape holding the wire to the top of the tube. The tuning dial does not function properly, as the dial indicator moves on occasion. The finish on the radio is all original and simply been c...leaned and polished with a professional wood wax. I would encourage additional waxing, as the finish was quite dry. There is veneer patch on the upper left front of the radio that is visible, but from a distance will not noticed. Grill cloth has some fraying along the bottom. The original cloth power cord is missing a great deal of the exterior covering. In order to ensure safe delivery, the radio will be double boxed.
