Rare Vintage Sampson Mordan & Co Sterling Silver Spiral Dip Pen & Pencil Set - Boxed
For auction is this lovely early vintage novelty dip fountain pen and propelling pencil set. The set is made from sterling silver and marked as such. It comes housed in a box which is in fair condition but has some marks and stains from age. The markings on each pen is as follows: S Mordan & Co Sterling Silver.
I think this is quite a rare set with stunning spiralling pa...tterns and is in good working condition. The propelling mechanism is in good working condition. It just requires some lead refills. The external condition is really good but there are some marks from usage. It could do with a good polish but I have left it as is because I quite like the patina. The patterning is rather unusual and striking with swirls!
The set comes housed in an original Mordan box which is in good condition but does have some staining and marks.
