I have been selling amber fossils for over 10 years on eBay and do not sell fake amber only genuine material from now extinct plant sources not glass or plastic embedded with present day inclusions.Burmese (Burmite) amber is difficult to acquire and has been dated to be Cretaceous in age (around 100 million years old) and would have been sticky resin during the time of the dinosaursand is being mined in the Hukawng Valley in Myanmar(Burma).This is a fu...lly polished piece of Burmite (Burmese) amber that contains a male Mycetophilid fly with claspers at the end of its abdomen used to grab the female during mating, a beetle, and a gall gnat from the Cretaceous Period.These insects would have been alive when dinosaurs still roamed the Earth!
