Up for sale is a HOLTZER-CABOT DC Magneto or Generator probably used for some early telephone application. This magneto or generator motor or whatever it actually is is in good condition and actually makes power when spun and spins when powered. This you may want to clean or polish for display but for now original patina. There is another larger unit for sale on eBay as well that was how I identified this one.
