Here's an Atwater Kent 4910 (Model 12) breadboard on a cabinet-cut board.
Condition overall is very good, and the radio is original throughout, with no restoration, no refinishing, no repairs.
The mahogany board retains its original finish and exhibits only minimal crazing. As you can see in the photographs, the front and back of the board have been cut square to fit in a cabinet. Sides are still tapered, with the end caps in place. All of the chocolate brown bakelite is in excellent condition, with no chips, no cracks, no issues. The engraved numbers and hash marks on all the dials are crisp and legible. Both original paper tags are intact on the underside of the board, and they're mostly complete and still legible. The wire on the RF tuners is still tightly wound.
The paint on the TA islands is original and in good condition, with minimal wear. The textured paint on the condenser cans is likewise original and it too is in excellent condition. The potting tar inside the TA islands is original, and all three AF transformers inside the islands are original. The wiring on the underside of the board is original, as are the staples.
Transformer in the first island tests good (both windings). Secondaries in the second island also test good (3100 and 3300 ohms respectively). I don't have test points for the primaries in the second island, and I've tried a few different points at random, none of which metered. If you have the test points for the primaries in the second island and would like me to test them for you, just let me know what they are, and I'll be happy to get the info to you.
The six tubes included with the radio have open filaments and are for display only.
